Over a Decade of Experience in Cement Production Training with SIMULEX®

For more than ten years, VDZ has delivered hands-on training using the SIMULEX® cement production simulator. Our programs are offered both nationally and internationally, with inhouse training and yearly open seminars at our facility in Düsseldorf.

From the very beginning, VDZ has played a key role in shaping SIMULEX® by contributing practical industry insights. Our deep expertise in cement production continues to drive the simulator’s development, helping to create ever more realistic training conditions.

Hands-on Process Training with SIMULEX

Participants in our customised seminars engage in hands-on learning using a realistic virtual model of a complete cement plant. They operate a virtual control system (SCADA) and interact with control equipment via a soft PLC. This digital simulation accurately represents every process step — from raw material preparation to finish grinding — allowing complex procedures to be practiced safely under realistic conditions. The experience enhances technical understanding, improves response confidence, and directly connects theoretical knowledge with practical application.
