Our highly efficient and accredited concrete laboratory, with its extensive technical equipment, offers all the important tests on fresh concrete and hardened concrete, as well as for all concrete constituents taking into account the relevant standards and regulations. A major focus of our work is testing the durability of concrete. Our research institute also integrates research projects on carbonation, chloride penetration resistance, frost and freeze-thaw resistance, sulphate resistance and the avoidance of harmful alkali-silica reactions into improving existing test procedures and developing new ones. In the field of structural diagnostics and service life design, VDZ services include a diagnosis of existing structures and a BIM-based repair planning. Our practical approach and current research projects form the basis of the excellent quality of our testing services and the expertise of our research institute.
We are accredited by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS) and by the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt) respectively to provide expert assessments of aggregates and concrete compositions in accordance with the General Circular on Road Construction ARS no. 04/2013. To avoid harmful alkali-silica reactions on concrete road pavements, you can benefit from the reliable results of our concrete tests.
We offer to prepare approval tests of cements and concretes for you. This will enable you to verify the suitability of your construction products for specific areas of application, e.g. a KOMO attest with a product certificate in accordance with CUR 48.
