Quality management systems

DIN EN ISO 9001 specifies the minimum requirements of a quality management system (QM System) for supplying products and services that meet both customer expectations and official requirements. At the same time, the management system is intended to guarantee a constant process of improvement and the quality of a company's products and services. To do this, all company relevant processes are first recorded to enable them to be checked and optimised at regular intervals.

The certification body of the FIZ GmbH certifies in particular companies from the stone and earth industry and the construction materials industry. The services of FIZ-Zert can however also be made use of by other companies irrespective of their location, membership in associations/organizations or other requirements.

As part of the certification process, the following services are provided:

  • Initial certification with stage 1 and stage 2 audits
  • Regular inspection audits
  • Re-certification
  • Matrix certification
