Management systems describe the tasks of corporate management and link corporate objectives and tasks with processes in order to achieve them. At the same time, methods are made available to enable corporate objectives and processes to be successfully managed and controlled. Today's most well-known management system is the quality management system according to ISO 9001. Other areas that are addressed by management systems are, for example, energy and environmental management and health and safety provisions. If all these aspects are combined into one uniform management system, it is also referred to as an integrated management system. In comparison to individual, isolated management systems, using synergies and bundling resources, makes lean, efficient management possible.
