Forschungsergebnisse: Einfluss der Verringerung von Schmelzpunkt und Viskosität der Klinkerschmelze durch Aschen alternativer Brennstoffe auf Sinterreaktionen und Coatingbildung
Ziel des Forschungsvorhabens war es, den Einfluss von Nebenoxiden aus Brennstoffaschen auf die Bildungstemperaturen der Klinkerschmelze und auf die damit verbundene Klinkermineralogie herauszuarbeiten. Ebenso sollten die Auswirkungen der verringerten Prozesstemperatur und der veränderten Eigenschaften der Klinkerschmelze auf die notwendige Bildung von Coatingschichten sowie die Feuerfestkorrosion und damit auf die Haltbarkeit der feuerfesten Zustellung in der Sinterzone des Drehrohrofens aufgeklärt werden.

This online seminar gives you a concise overview of technologies and optimisation strategies for efficient CO₂ capture applied to industrial processes like the clinker burning process. You will learn the fundamentals of carbon capture processes and the key criteria for integrating capture systems into existing plants. The online seminar also highlights optimisation potential through holistic heat integration and process stabilisation. Synergies and limitations arising from combining multiple emission sources are assessed, along with impurity pathways and the consent need for emission abatement. By the end, you will gain practical insights into how CO₂ capture can be implemented effectively from both a technical and an energy perspective.
Crash course process control
As a participant in this course, you will receive a possibility to get acquainted with the state-of-the-art supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) thanks to a realistic reconstruction of a production plant provided by SIMULEX®. The SIMULEX® cement plant simulator for training plant supervisors, foremen, production personnel, control room operators and young engineers was developed by KHD Humboldt Wedag AG in cooperation with VDZ. For over ten years VDZ has been using the simulator within the framework of training courses and has been continually supporting the further development of the system with practical input from the industry.
