Learning objectives

Module 1 (Raw Material Preparation and Grinding Technology) will enable participants to obtain a better understanding of the comminution processes and the equipment used for material grinding to ensure high levels of availability, optimise production rates and reduce energy consumption.

Module 2 (Clinker Production and Material Technology) will enable participants to obtain a deeper knowledge of the clinker production process and to better understand the impacts of the daily decisions of plant personnel on the plant’s performance (quality, electrical energy, fuel consumption and emissions).

Please note: The only reasonable way to reach us by car is from the north via the B1 (Heinrich-Erhardt-Straße). From there, you can turn towards the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf (HSD) into Toulouser Allee and follow this street for about 500 m until you reach the entrance to the new VDZ building (Toulouser Allee 71, 40476 Düsseldorf) on the south side of the building.
