Environmental Analyses

Our emission and immission (ambient air) measurements entail the determination of a series of chemical parameters according to the German Clean Air Regulations (TA Luft) and the German Ordinance on Waste Incineration. The respective analyses of environmentally relevant constituents can be carried out with samples from discontinuous stack measurements and with all input materials for the clinker burning process, including secondary fuels and other alternative materials as well.

Most of the analyses listed below are included in the accreditation according to ISO 17025.

  • Determination of metals and semimetals
  • Determination of anions (e.g. F-, Cl-, Br-, SO42-, PO43- etc.)
  • Determination of special components, such as  NH3, H2S etc.
  • Determination of cumulative parameters, such as TC, TOC, TIC,
    VOC, total N, etc.
  • Determination of organic compounds (BTEX, PAK, PCB, PCP)

The chemical parameters mentioned above are regularly determined on samples taken from other environmental media, such as soil, mud, water and sewage, on waste materials and on all materials present in cement manufacture as well.
